CAMPOBELLO, SC : Cyclist hit killed by vehicle in Spartanburg County on Wednesday, 10th July 2024

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said one person is dead after a crash involving a bicycle and one vehicle Wednesday morning.
According to the coroner, the incident occurred on East Frontage Road in the Campobello community.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a bicyclist and sedan were traveling west on East Frontage Road when the sedan hit the cyclist in the rear.
Officials said the cyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment where they later passed away.
The coroner identified the victim as 78-year-old Carol Jean Vosburgh.
