Cleves, OH : Driver injured in a school bus crash in Cleves on Thursday, March 12, 2015

A driver suffered minor injuries in a school bus crash in Cleves early Thursday.

The crash was first reported at about 6:45 a.m. in the 4700 block of East Miami River Road.

Investigators said the Three Rivers School District driver swerved to miss a deer and ran off the side of the road and into a pole. The bus then went through a sign and came to a stop just short of a house.

No children were on board at the time.

Rescue crews said the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
