One Person Taken to Hospital After Crash in Durham

One person was taken to an area hospital following a crash in Durham Saturday night, officials said.

The accident happened along Route 17, around 7 p.m. The vehicle hit a utility poll, briefly knocking out power to nearby homes.

No other details were provided.

The road was closed while authorities investigated the accident.
