Portland, OR : Driver ejected from car after crashing into a tree on Sunday morning, Sep 6, 2015

A driver was taken to the hospital Sunday morning with life-threatening injuries after crashing into a tree, Portland police said.

Police were called just before 7 a.m. to Southeast 78th Avenue and Powell Boulevard.

They found the injured driver, who had been ejected from a car after it hit the tree.

Police are investigating the crash.
