Two parents died and their two children were seriously injured in a car crash in Windsor on Saturday night, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.

The driver, Delanie Murphy, 41, and her front seat passenger, Dave Chavis Jr., 29, both of Williston, were pronounced dead at the scene after the two-vehicle accident happened in the 4000 block of Charleston Highway at about 8:48 p.m.

The children who were in the same vehicle were taken to AU Medical Center in serious condition.

The coroner’s office was called at 9:10 p.m.
