Union Grove, AL : Two people killed and one injured in car crash involving commercial truck on Highway 69 in Marshall County on Thursday, February 18, 2016

Two people were killed and another flown to Huntsville Hospital for treatment following a crash Thursday near Union Grove.

The crash involved a tractor trailer and an SUV, according to AL.com news partner WHNT News 19. It occurred on Highway 69 between Guntersville and Arab.

Troopers have not yet released the names of the two people killed. All lanes of Highway 69 were blocked as the crash scene was worked by troopers, firefighters and police from Guntersville and the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.

The crash remains under investigation.
