Jonesboro, AR : Man seriously injured in Highland Drive crash on Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2016

One person was seriously injured in a crash at the intersection of Highland Drive and Fair Park Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

The Jonesboro Police Department responded to the crash around 6 p.m.

According to Officer Weston Gates with JPD, a man driving a scooter pulled out of the Fugi's parking lot when a woman driving a four-door sedan pulled out and hit him.

The man was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center in serious condition.

The woman was not injured.

Police have not released any names at this time.
