Lynnport, PA : Two women killed in head-on crash in eastern Pennsylvania on Tuesday, October 21, 2014

Authorities have identified two women killed in a head-on crash on an eastern Pennsylvania road. Officials in Lehigh County said the crash was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lynn Township. Coroner Scott Grim identified the drivers who died as 60-year-old Amy Mende of Kempton and 71-year-old Sylvia Koenig of New Tripoli. Grim said both died of multiple blunt force injuries and ruled the deaths accidents. State police and the coroner's office are investigating the cause of the crash.
