Gadsden, AL : Gadsden man seriously injured in crash in the 600 block of Noccalula Drive on Wednesday, 14th November 2018

A 39-year-old Gadsden man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday night in the 600 block of Noccalula Drive, according to Gadsden Police Sgt. John Hallman.

The man was driving a Nissan Altima that crashed with a Honda Pilot. The man was taken to a local hospital, as was a passenger in his vehicle who sustained minor injuries.

The crash occurred at about 9 p.m. Wednesday, Hallman said, and is under investigation by GPD’s traffic homicide investigators — standard practice for crashes that result in serious injuries.

Hallman urged motorists to be careful driving during rainy conditions. The area where this crash occurred — and some other areas of town — are subject to vehicles hydroplaning.

Investigators likely will be in the area, continuing their investigation, Hallman said.
