Lubbock, TX : Vehicle vs. utility pole crash downs power lines in Central Lubbock on February, Thursday 15th 2018

A Jeep crashed into a utility pole, downing multiple other poles and utility lines and diverting traffic for much of Thursday afternoon in Central Lubbock.

No injuries were reported in the the crash that happened about 12:30 p.m. on Quaker Avenue near 50th Street, according to Lubbock police.

The driver’s name was not immediately available, and it was not immediately clear what caused the crash, which remained under investigation late Thursday.
