LARGO, FL : Largo crash leaves 2 people dead, shuts down busy intersection on Sunday, 28th January 2024

Two people were killed after a two-car crash early Sunday morning in Largo.

At around 5:26 a.m., authorities arrived at the intersection of East Bay Drive and Starkey Road after receiving a report of a deadly crash, the Largo Police Department said in a media alert.

Police say a person driving a Mercedes Benz was speeding on East Bay Drive when two people in a Honda Civic were going south on Starkey Road.
