A man was killed in a crash on Donelson Pike near the Nashville International Airport on Wednesday morning.
The motorcyclist, 39-year-old Mannie Fentress, was passing the airport when he hit a curb and he lost control of his 2015 Kawasaki.
Fentress was found dead by a Metro officer who happened to be passing by in the southbound lanes around 1:30 a.m.
Officials do not know if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash but say Fentress had several bags of marijuana with him.
Northbound lanes of Donelson Pike have since reopened.
Hours after this crash, there was another fatal motorcycle wreck on Interstate 24 at Ellington Parkway.
