Harrisburg, PA : 5 transported after Biglerville Road crash on Monday, 12th November 2018

Three people were transported to the hospital from this Chevrolet minivan that was struck from behind and then pushed into the vehicle in front of it. Five people total were taken to the hospital after three vehicles collided on Biglerville Road Tuesday about 12:25 p.m. A green Plymouth heading toward Biglerville stopped to turn left into Colony House Furniture at 1640 Biglerville Road, Cumberland Township Police Chief Don Boehs said. A silver Chevrolet Venture traveling behind the Plymouth moved to go around it, then was hit from behind by a silver Buick Century, police said. The impact pushed the Chevy into the Plymouth, causing a second crash, according to police. A female passenger in the Plymouth had to be extricated by firefighters, who popped the door off the vehicle, Gettysburg Fire Chief Hurshel Shank said. All three vehicles sustained severe damage and had to be towed, according to police.
