Knoxville ,TN : Two Young boys Uninjured after crash during late night joyride on Thursday ,June 4th 2015

According to police, an 11-year-old and 8-year-old took a joyride in a family member's Honda Accord and crashed it. The boys were not hurt and the cars had only minor damage.

A woman called police just before 2 a.m. to report her daughter's Honda Accord was stolen. That's when she found out our her two grand kids were missing. Officers began to search the woman's house and they heard a car crash in front of the home.

Police believe the 8-year-old took his mom's keys and went on a joyride with his 11-year-old cousin.

There was another hit and run crash nearby, and police are investigating if it's connected to this incident. The two children could not be charged due to their young age. They were turned over to family members.
