Rochester, NY : Tractor-trailer crash shuts down I-490 east on Monday August 29, 2016

Traffic was backed up on Interstate 490 Monday afternoon after a tractor-trailer carrying scrap metal partially flipped, shutting down the four eastbound lanes on the stretch of the road.

Eastbound traffic was shut down on the interstate at South Avenue where all traffic was being detoured, according the state Department of Transportation.

No one was injured in the 2 p.m. crash as only the trailer portion of the truck flipped onto its side.
