North Providence, RI : Driver seriously injured when car crashes in N. Providence on Sunday, 11th November 2018

The driver of a vehicle that apparently took a curve too fast and hit two houses in North Providence early Sunday, doing significant structural damage to both, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries, North Providence police said.
The identity of the man, who was the only person in the vehicle, was being withheld, the police said in a news release Sunday night.
The crash occurred at about 1 a.m. Sunday at Smith Street (Route 44) and Sunset Avenue, near where Smith Street bends.
Troopers from the Rhode Island State Police were called to assist with the investigation. The cause of the crash is still being determined.
