Tempe, AZ : A crash in Tempe on Thursday morning has left one person dead on May 1st 2014

One person has died in a fiery crash in Tempe, authorities say.

Tempe police say the accident happened around 8:50 a.m. when a single vehicle crashed into the wall at a shopping center near Baseline Road and Price Road.

The vehicle caught fire and Sgt. Michael Pooley said the driver was killed.

No other details have been released so far.
