Avoyelles Parish, LA : Mansura woman killed in crash; 2 children injured on La. Highway 114 on Friday, 13th March, 2020

A Mansura woman died Friday in a crash in Avoyelles Parish that also injured two young children, according to Louisiana State Police.

Carol A. Laprairie, 50, died at the scene of the wreck on La. Highway 114 on Friday afternoon. She was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo westbound when she lost control, ran off the road and then hit a tree.

No one in the car was properly restrained, according to a release.
