CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : 2 injured after Linn County crash on Friday, 26th January 2024

Just before 10 p.m. on Friday night Linn County Deputies, Hiawatha Ambulance, Linn County Rescue, and Monroe Township Fire responded to an accident located at North Center Point Road and Alice Road.

At the scene, crews learned that a car that had been driven by 55-year-old Angela Heck from Cedar Rapids was traveling south on Alice Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Alice Road and North Center Point Road. Heck’s car ended up in the west ditch, drove through a fence, and stopped against a tree. Hiawatha Ambulance took Angela and her daughter to a local hospital for what are thought to be non-life-threatening injuries.
