TOWN OF MAINE, WI : Illinois man hurt in Outagamie County Crash on Saturday, 6h July 2024

On Saturday around 7:45 a.m. the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle crash on Taubel Road in the town of Maine. When deputies arrived, they found a sedan driven by a man from Illinois that had left the road and hit a tree. The man was taken out of the sedan by Nichols Fire Department.

He was airlifted from the scene by Eagle III to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Officials say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
