Roundup, MT : 60-year old man died in a fatal motorcycle crash near Roundup Saturday afternoon, August 27, 2016

A billings man, identified Sunday, was involved in a fatal motorcycle crash near Roundup Saturday afternoon.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the 60-year old man was driving northbound on Highway 87. He was not wearing a helmet when he went off the road and crashed, according to MHP. The man was pronounced dead on scene.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and no other riders were involved.

It's still unclear why the man left the roadway. Drugs and speed are still under investigation as a factor of the crash, but alcohol has been eliminated.
