PEMBROKE, NY : 1 killed in head-on crash in Pembroke on Thursday, 14th March 2019

A man died Thursday after deputies say he drove head-on into a tractor-trailer.

According to Genesee County Sheriff's deputies, the car was traveling west on Route 5 in Pembroke when it crossed over into oncoming traffic around 3 p.m. and struck a tractor-trailer head-on.

The driver of the car died instantly.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to UMMC in Batavia with minor injuries.
