FRANKLIN COUNTY, KY : Coroner identifies person killed in US-421 crash on Wednesday, 10th April 2024

The name of the person killed in a Franklin County crash has been released.

The coroner has identified the victim as 69-year-old William M. Stewart of Lexington.

Frankfort police say the single-vehicle crash happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday on US-421 Bypass (Wilkinson Boulevard) between Versailles Road (US 60) and Schenkel Lane.

Police tell us Stewart was the only person in the vehicle involved. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
