Roanoke County, VA : Driver dies after tractor-trailer crash in Roanoke County on Wednesday, 6th February 2019

A tractor-trailer driver has died after the vehicle ran off Interstate 81 and over an embankment in Roanoke County on Wednesday afternoon.

The single-vehicle crash at the 140.5 mile marker happened at about 3:11 p.m., Sgt. Rick Garletts with Virginia State Police said.
