York,NE : Rollover accident on Blackburn on August, Monday 28th 2017

Despite impact heavy enough to knock one vehicle off its wheels, no one was injured in an early-evening collision at Second Street and Blackburn Avenue on Monday.

Ann Spanjers of York, driving northbound on Blackburn, was struck on the passenger side of her car by a vehicle traveling westbound on Second Street.

The collision knocked Spanjers off the street and onto the front a vehicle parked facing south on the west side of Blackburn. Her car came to rest on its driver’s side where it was unstable partly on and partly off the curb.

Spanjers remained inside out of an abundance of caution, but quickly let gathering rescuers know she was uninjured.
