A Boston woman is facing a drunken driving charge after a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 495 in Bridgewater Sunday night left a man seriously injured, according to the Brockton Enterprise.
Kiana Torres was charged with driving under the influence of liquor causing serious bodily injury and a marked-lanes violation after her car collided with a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man from Bridgewater just before 7 p.m. Sunday.The newspaper reported that Massachusetts State Police and the Bridgewater Fire Department responded to a rollover crash on I-495 south, where a 2007 Toyota Scion was on its roof with heavy damage when first responders arrived near exit 7B.
Torres was driving a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis and the unidentified Bridgewater man was driving the Scion, according to the Enterprise.
Bridgewater firefighters took the man to a local hospital following the crash and his condition was not known as of Monday morning, reported the Enterprise.
Torres was scheduled to appear in Brockton District Court Monday.
