Longview, TX : One person was injured in a wreck on May, Saturday 6th 2017

One person was injured in a wreck this afternoon involving a motorcycle in West Longview.

The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the inside lane of Marshall Avenue when a van pulled out in front of it, according to Longview police spokesman Shane McCarter. The van was trying to cross Marshall Avenue from Enterprise Street to Forest Park Drive, he said.

He said the driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
