Homeland Park, SC :Robert Batista, 17, and Kelsey Granger, 17, killed in automobile accident on Keowee Road off Highway 28 south on Tuesday, July 7th 2015

Two teenagers were killed in a crash Monday afternoon, according to the Abbeville County coroner. Tony Keller said the teens were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car. Coroner Ronnie Ashley said the wreck happened at about 2:15 p.m. on Keowee Road off Highway 28. Robert "Bobby" Dale Batista and Kelsey Shane Granger, both 17, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
