Milwaukee, WI : 24-year-old West Allis woman hospitalized after head-on crash on I-43 on Sunday morning, March 6, 2016

A 24-year-old West Allis woman was hospitalized Sunday morning after driving the wrong way on I-43 and crashing into two other vehicles.

The occupants of the two cars that the driver struck were not hurt.

She had been driving east on I-43 westbound at 92nd Street around 2:30 a.m. when her black Nissan struck a truck head-on, then bounced off and hit a Cadillac.

The woman underwent surgery for a potentially broken arm.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office will try to press Second Degree Reckless Endangerment, Driving Wrongway, and first offense DUI charges.
