Centreville, MS : Amite County woman killed in one-vehicle accident Saturday on June 21, 2014
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle crash that killed a 63-year-old Centreville woman.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Mississippi Highway 48 east of Centreville in Amite County.
A car driven by Shirley C. Cotton ran off the right side of the road and collided with a culvert.
They say Cotton was not wearing a seatbelt and ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead on the scene by the Amite County Coroner.
