Injuries were relatively minor in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 25-A and Eldean Road on Friday afternoon.Troy Fire Department medic units, a rescue engine, and Miami County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the area around 2:45 on the report of a crash involving two vehicles.
First responders arrived to find a small car and a pickup truck had collided in the intersection. The drivers of the vehicles were the lone occupants of each. Both were transported to Upper Valley Medical center for what, deputies described as, relatively minor injuries.
Sgt. Chris Bobb of the Miami County Sheriff’s Office said that a small sedan was traveling westbound on Eldean Road and was struck by a northbound pickup truck as it entered the intersection. Bobb said that witness statements indicate that the westbound car had the green light.
No names have been released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
