Arlington,WA : 19-year-old driver killed in 1-car crash in Arlington on June, Monday 19th 2017
Six hours after being called to a fatal motorcycle crash south of Everett, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit responded to a deadly accident near Arlington Monday night.
The second crash was reported just before 9 p.m. at the 9300 block of Arlington Heights Road.
A 19-year-old man was the only person in the car when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. The Arlington man died at the scene.
Detectives were on the scene until 1 a.m Tuesday and are continuing to investigate.
Identification of the deceased will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner after notification to family has been made.
On Monday afternoon, a man was killed in a motorcycle crash south of Everett.
It happened about 3 p.m. along Admiralty Way, near Center Road. The man died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
Detectives are investigating that crash as well.
“Speed may have been a factor,” Ireton said.
