MUSCATINE, IA : Car crash kills 1, injures 2 in Muscatine on Friday, 22nd August 2024

A car crash in Muscatine killed 1 person and injured 2 others Friday evening, according to Iowa State Patrol.

Police say a 2024 Nissan Rogue was traveling south on Taylor Avenue and failed to stop at a stop sign when entering Hwy 61. A 2021 Dodge Durango was unable to stop in time, striking the Rogue.

One person was killed as a result of a crash and two were injured, according to the police crash report. One of the injured was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospital.
