East Shoreham, NY : 60-year-old man dead after vehicle crash in Long Island Sunday March 6 2016

A 60-year-old man is dead after police say he lost control of his sport utility vehicle and hit a utility pole on Long Island.
Newsday Joseph Labate's SUV hit a pole in East Shoreham at about 6 p.m. Sunday.
The Rocky Point man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash is under investigation.
