FESTUS, MO : 1 killed night in Jefferson County crash on Saturday, 30th December 2023

A Fenton man died after his car ran off the road and crashed Saturday night in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Saturday in Festus. Jeffrey M/ Stoppelmann, 52, was driving northbound on Mapaville-Hematite Road near Little Creek when his car traveled off the right side of the roadway.
