Gainesville, MO : Andrew P. Wallace was injured in a two vehicle crash at Highway 160 On Saturday, July 30th, 2016
Andrew P. Wallace, 18, of Theodosia, was flown by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield Saturday after sustaining serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 160 in Theodosia.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report filed by C. J. Mendez, Wallace was traveling westbound on Highway 160 in a 2006 GMC pickup around 7:25 p.m. when he attempted to pass a 2014 GMC
pickup driven by 47-year-old Hartville resident Denny Harrison. As Wallace was passing Harrison in the left lane, Harrison attempted to turn left, striking Wallace’s vehicle and causing it to leave the left side of the roadway and
strike a tree.
Wallace was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. His injuries were classified as “serious” in the report. Wallace’s vehicle was a total loss and was towed from the scene.
Harrison was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured. His truck, which sustained moderate damage, was also towed from the scene.
