Dawsonville, GA : One killed in Dawsonville wreck on Sunday, March 19th 2017

One person died and Elliott Family Parkway near Howser Mill Road was closed for several hours after a serious car wreck Sunday night.

According to Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman Robin Stone, the driver of one vehicle, Mark David Childers, 51, of Dahlonega, was traveling north on Hwy. 183, and was entering a right hand curve at a high rate of speed when his vehicle crossed the center line into the southbound lane.
