Chicago,IL : Man fatally struck by car in Aurora on March, Saturday 31th 2018

A man was killed after he was struck by a car Saturday night in west suburban Aurora.

About 11:10 p.m., the man was walking on Long Grove Drive when a 2013 Buick Regal traveling west on Ogden Avenue hit him, Aurora Police said.

A 19-year-old Aurora man was driving the Buick with a 19-year-old female passenger from Oswego, police said. It was unclear if either were injured.

The man who was killed has not been identified, police said.

The DuPage County Coroner did not immediately confirm the death.

Ogden Avenue was closed between Frotenac Street and Eola Road as the scene was being investigated, police said.

No tickets were issued pending further investigation, police said.
