A Yakima woman was injured when her 2015 Subaru Outback collided with a semi-truck on Interstate 82 on Thursday morning.

Meagan E. Conner, 32, was driving east on I-82 in Benton City when she passed a 2003 Peterbilt truck pulling two trailers around 10:20 a.m., according to a Washington State Patrol news release. Conner lost control of her Subaru, which struck the truck and then the guardrail, the report said.

Conner was taken to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, where her condition was not immediately known. The truck’s driver, 44-year-old Jeffrey T. Still of Prosser, was not injured, the release said.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and intoxicants were not a factor, the release said. Troopers said Conner is expected to be cited for negligent driving.
