Berkeley Springs, WV : Woman injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision on U.S. 522 in Morgan County on August 18th 2014

A West Virginia woman injured Monday afternoon in a head-on collision on U.S. 522 in Morgan County remained in critical condition Wednesday at Meritus Medical Center east of Hagerstown, according to a hospital spokesman. Sonia Andrews of Berkeley Springs was flown to the hospital after the car she was driving collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Walter Weaver of Hagerstown. Weaver was in good condition Wednesday at INOVA Hospital in Fairfax, Va., according to a spokesman there. A 5-year-old passenger in Weaver’s vehicle was taken to Winchester (Va.) Medical Center. The child’s condition was unavailable Wednesday. Maryah Marie McGill-Keatts, 9, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died in the crash. She also was a passenger in Weaver’s vehicle.
