Sacramento, CA : Motorcyclist killed in crash on February, Sunday 4th 2018

A 33-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday and his 36-year-old passenger injured when they collided with a sport utility vehicle on Keswick Dam Road west of Quartz Hill Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to the CHP, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m.., when the motorcyclist was driving westbound on Keswick Dam Road and failed to negotiate a curve west of Quartz Hill Road.

The motorcycle went down on its side in the eastbound lane, the CHP said,

The driver of an eastbound SUV abruptly slowed and turned to the right, but was unable to avoid colliding with the motorcycle, the CHP said.
