SAN JUAN COUNTY, UT : Two dead as result of three vehicle crash on State Route 191 through San Juan County on Thursday, 14th September 2023

Two people have died as a result of a three vehicle crash in San Juan County.

Officials of the Utah Department of Public Safety said that the incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, when a white Ford Taurus was heading northbound on State Route 191 just south of the Needles overlook exit and a blue Nissan Sedan was heading southbound in the same area.

For an unknown reason, officials said one of the cars crossed over the centerline and the two vehicles collided head-on.

A Penske commercial vehicle that was traveling southbound entered the scene of the crash and reportedly struck the Nissan.
