A 5-year-old boy was injured early Saturday afternoon when the car he was in collided with a pickup at the intersection of First Avenue and Minnesota Highway 60 at Mazeppa.
The State Patrol said Eli J. Dougherty, 5, of Oronoco was injured but doesn't list a hospital.
According to the patrol, the boy was a passenger in a car being driven by Rachel E. Dougherty, 23. She was driving east on the highway when the car they were in collided with a pickup being driven south on the avenue by Terrance G. Lieffring, 19, of Mazeppa.
Neither driver, nor a passenger in Lieffring's car, was injured.
The crash was reported at 12:24 p.m.
