Port Charlotte,FL : Truck overturns in three-vehicle collision on may, Wednesday 17th 2017

A pickup truck overturned on its side during a three- vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of State Road 776 and Gillot Boulevard in Port Charlotte.

The elderly male driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported by aeromed five to Lee Memorial Hospital. No other injuries occurred, but the left turn lane and inside lane of State Road 776 was blocked by vehicles in the road. Charlotte County Fire/EMS officials advised there may be delays on State Road 776 from Englewood to Port Charlotte.
