Ipswich, MA : 74-year-old man killed after crashing motorcycle into tree in Ipswich on Friday, 28th September 2018

Local and State Police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Ipswich that killed a 74-year-old Florida man Friday afternoon, authorities said.

An off-duty Boxford paramedic reported seeing a motorcycle off Boxford Road shortly before 5:15 p.m., Ipswich police said in a statement. Boxford and Acton paramedics were performing CPR on the rider when officers arrived on scene.

The man, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he later died, the statement said.
