Spencer, MA : East Brookfield motorcyclist injured in collision with car on Greenville Street on Sunday evening, July 17, 2016

A motorcycle rider was injured when the driver of a car allegedly drove through an intersection without stopping Sunday evening and collided with the motorcycle.

Mark LaPrad, 59, of East Brookfield, was headed southeast on Greenville Street at about 6:20 p.m. when a John Larson, 50, of Spencer drove through the intersection from Kingsbury Road, police said.

Mr. LaPrad's 2008 Harley-Davidson hit the side of Mr. Larson's 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, Sgt. Norman L. Hodgerney Jr. said. The accident left Mr. LaPrad with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus in Worcester.

Mr. Larson was cited by Officer Brandon Fullam for failing to stop at a stop sign and speeding.
