Cambridge, MA : Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with car at 2nd and Thorndike streets in East Cambridge on Thursday, 12th March, 2020

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Thursday in a crash involving a vehicle in Cambridge, police said.

Police said the crash happened at approximately 3:50 p.m. at 2nd and Thorndike streets in East Cambridge.

Police said motorcyclistm a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The driver of the car remained at the scene, police said.

The crash is under investigation.
