DEFIANCE, OH : A Defiance man is dead after crash on Sunday, June 11, 2017

A Defiance man is dead after crashing his motorcycle Sunday.

Tony Meyer, 58, was traveling westbound about 5:52 p.m. on Cleveland Avenue near the intersection of Ottawa Avenue. He did not stop for a stop sign, and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Jack Humberger, 62, of Defiance, police said.

First responders pronounced Mr. Meyer dead at the scene. Mr. Humberger suffered minor injuries and was treated at Mercy Health Defiance Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
