RAVENNA, OH : Car-motorcycle crash on State Route 14 sends one to hospital on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018

A motorcyclist was transported to a Cleveland hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Sgt. Jon Ganley of the Ohio Highway Patrol said a motorcycle was traveling north on Route 14 when a black sedan started to make a left turn from the Windmill Lakes Golf Course driveway onto 14 and pulled into the motorcycle’s path.

The motorcyclist was ejected. He was transported first to UH Portage Medical Center and then moved by helicopter to University Hospitals in Cleveland, according to Ganley.

Ganley said “alcohol is believed to be a factor” in the crash.

State Route 14 near Windmill Lakes Golf Course closed immediately following the crash.
