Cassville, MO : Two people injured in a wreck on Highway 37 and Old Exeter Road on Sunday morning, May 22, 2016
Two people were injured Sunday morning in a wreck at 9:14 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 37 and Old Exeter Road in Cassville.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Amanda Laney, 29, of Exeter, was driving a 2-11 Chevrolet Malibu northbound when her vehicle failed to stop for a red signal and struck the driver's side of a 1988 Subaru Forester, being driven by Lois Mangun, 69, of Cassville.
Both drivers suffered moderate injuries. Laney was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville, and Mangun was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
Laney was wearing a safety device, and Mangun was not. Both vehicles were totaled.
